MODERN REENACTMENTS OF GREEK DANCES

In the legendary city of Tripolis - Arcadia region,  and at  the beautiful open stone-theatre of Saint George, the Dance Center of Tripolis -KEXOT-, an IOV member,   is organizing   a great event for the Greek Dances in the new social reality, in the 27th of June 2009.¨

The event is organized once a year

Deeming that the 11th edition of 2009 in the picturesque forest of Saint George of Tripolis is an interesting and notable cultural event, is under the Auspices of IOV in operational relation with UNESCO and of  “GREEK DANCE ARCHIVES”.

Furthermore, members of IOV from Greece and from many other countries are invited to participate in this glorious night, as honorary quests.

Coordinator of the “Modern Reenactments of Greek Dances” is the President of KEXOT, Mrs. Maria Karapanou, IOV member and Curator of “GREEK DANCE ARCHIVES”.
