SCIENTIFIC INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM
 
 

With the subject:                                  
‘Safeguarding national cultural identity through traditional dance and its re-enactments on the threshold of the 21st century’
 
AIMS:
Stating
the viewpoints of national dance as a timeless phenomenon within the prism of folk, anthropological, sociological and scientific approaches – and also more general issues concerning music and dance, their transformation, practical execution, symbolism and methods of research and teaching.
The examination of Cultural Bodies’ contribution to the preservation of cultural heritage, as a reference point and connection to the preservation of traditional customs of nations of the World
Speakers and participants including university professors, authors, educators, researchers, heads of cultural bodies and other specialists  must  be all involved in issues of cultural heritage.
 
The meeting will constitute an important opportunity for promoting the cultural heritage of the Hungarian Municipality of Ercsi, as well as of many other countries of the world


Lectures and presentations
Time scheduled for lectures and presentations will be 20 minutes, plus 10 minutes extra for discussions to be granted by the table, according to the given session.
In the context of the Symposium, Lectures, Round Tables, Guided Tours to Museums  and Social Encounters will be organized.
